EACR Draft Rules Consultation
At the EACR Executive Committee on 9 October 2010 it was agreed that the draft revision to the rules should be made available to members via the website as part of the consultation process before a formal proposal is made to the February 2011 Committee meeting for consideration at the AGM in May 2011.
There are links to three documents which can be viewed on line, downloaded to your own computer and/or printed for review. The documents are an overview of the changes to the draft rules, a complete listing of the draft rules and a document comparing the draft rules to the current rules.
If you know a member who is interested in reviewing the draft rules, but who does not have access to the website, please make a copy available to them, but as the downloads exceed 20 pages in the interests of reducing waste please do not print multiple copies unless they are necessary – most towers have at least one person who has access to the internet.
The closing date for comments is 30 November 2010, they can be emailed to or posted to Colin Chapman (address in current Annual Report). Please ensure in any comments you make that it is clear to which rule number you are referring.
The sub-committee plans to meet in December to consider all comments and then will be available at the Annual District Meetings in January 2011 to answer any questions.
